CAPSICUM

Capsicum, also known as red pepper or chili pepper, is an herb. The fruit of the capsicum plant is used to make medicine.

Capsicum is a medicinal herb which is also called as chilli pepper or red pepper. It is used to treat different digestion problems like stomach pain, upset stomach, cramps, intestinal gas and diarrhea.

It is also used in treating problems with heart and blood vessels namely excessive blood clotting, poor circulation, high cholesterol and in preventing cardiovascular disease.

It can also used for the conditions like toothache, alcoholism, seasickness, fever and malaria.

Capsicum can relive the pain caused by rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis and fibromyalgia, when applied on the skin.

A specific variety of capsicum is known for causing undesired effects and severe eye pain when it is applied on face. It is used as a main agent for making self-defense pepper sprays.
