RASAGILINE MESILATE

Rasagiline Mesilate is a drug that is also known as a powerful and irreversible monoamine oxidase (MAO)- B inhibitor, which may cause increased dopamine levels in the striatum outside the cells. The raised dopamine level and ensuring enhanced dopaminergic action bring about useful impacts in dopaminergic motor dysfunction. It may be used alone or with levodopa for Parkinson’s disease and other advanced movement disorders.
