Clomiphene citrate
Clomifene, otherwise called clomiphene, is a drug that is used to treat infertility in females who don’t ovulate. This includes those women who have polycystic ovary disorder. Its use can lead to an increased possibility of twins. It is taken by mouth once per day. Usual side effects include pelvic pain and hot flashes. Clomiphene is called an ovulatory stimulant. It works just like estrogen, a female hormone that creates eggs in the ovaries and discharges them.
