TODDLER HYGIENE

TODDLER HYGIENE

Good toddler hygiene includes practices other than hand-washing. Urging your toddlers to have healthy hygiene while young can establish habits that keep going on for the rest of their lives.

TYPES

Washing hair

Toddlers can wash their hair for only a few times every week. Washing hair more frequently can dry out the hair and scalp, making the child prone to dandruff.

Bathing

Make bath time an enjoyable experience by using toys and playing games while they are washing in the bathtub. Teach them to use soap, a washcloth, and water to clean themselves, and don’t forget to teach them how to clean the washcloth after use.

Skin care

Your toddler still needs you to help them take care of their skin. Skin problems at this age include rashes, bumps, and scars. Inspect your child from head to toe and take the child to a doctor for any skin infections that may arise.

Oral care

Cleaning teeth and gums can prevent a lot of dental issues, including cavities and bad breath. It can also prevent other infections in the body such as those that cause rheumatic heart disease.

Hand-washing

Hand-washing is an important part of hygiene. Washing before meals, after playing in the soil, after handling pets, and after being in contact with someone who is sick the best way to deal with germs.

Nails

Fingernails are a breeding area for microorganisms. The germs that live under your kid’s nails can transfer to their eyes, nose, and mouth.

Toileting

When young children can go to the restroom by themselves, teach them to keep their little parts clean.

TREATMENT

Good hygiene is directly related to fewer diseases and better health. Poor individual hygiene, can incite some problems such as body odor and greasy skin. They can also lead to troublesome or even serious issues.
