ETOFAMIDE

Etofamide is a medication that is known as a luminal amoebicide that acts mainly on the lumen of the intestines with activities and uses like that of diloxanide furoate. It is used in the treatment of amoebiasis and has modest effects on Giardia lambia, the parasite responsible for giardiasis.
