AMEALPEPTIDE

Amealpeptide is a substance that is derived from casein, a milk protein. It consists of two tripeptides: Valine-Proline-Proline (VPP) and Isoleucine-Proline-Proline (IPP). These substances are known to have angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitory effects. The two peptides are naturally available in casein, however thangiotensiney are often not released by digestive enzymes in the intestines.
