PERMETHRIN

Permethrin is used in treatment of head pediculosis and scabies. It affects sodium ion entry through channels in nerve cell membranes. It also delays repolarisation that eventually results in paralysis and finally kills parasites.

Permethrin is being prescribed to treat scabies and head pediculosis.

Do not give this drug to people with the following conditions:

  • Hypersensitivity
