OCCIB

Occib is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory medicine (NSAID) used to treat mild to moderate pain and to assist in reducing arthritic symptoms such as inflammation, edoema, stiffness, and joint discomfort. Occib, however, does not cure arthritis and will only aid you for as long as you continue to take it.

Use this medication precisely as recommended by your physician. Follow the prescription of your doctor carefully.

The medication dose your physician has given is based on your condition, other medications or food supplements you may take, and your reaction to treatment. Do not use Occib in people with the following conditions:

  • history of stroke
  • Cerebrovascular accident
  • Heart attack
  • Myocardial infarction
  • MI
  • Coronary artery bypass graft

  • Congestive heart failure (CHF) NYHA II-IV

Occib may have the following side effects:

  • hallucinations
  • insomnia
  • hyponatremia
  • liver & acute renal failure
  • chest pain
  • diarrhea
  • serious skin reactions
  • epatitis
  • rash
  • dizziness
  • anaphylaxis
  • abdominal pain
  • pulmonary embolism
  • ageusia
  • coughing
  • interstitial nephritis
  • GI hemorrhage
  • pruritus
  • anosmia
  • vasculitis
  • peripheral edema
  • aseptic meningitis

Keep in mind that your physician has recommended this drug since he or she has known that the advantage to you is more noteworthy than the risk of adverse reactions. Many individuals utilizing this medicine don’t have serious side effects.

  • Volume-depletion.

Interactions

Occib may interact with the following medicines:

  • Celecoxib
  • Warfarin

  • Bleeding in the stomach and intestine
  • High blood pressure
  • Unconsciousness (coma)
  • Vomiting
