MECLOZINE + PYRIDOXINE

Meclozine + Pyridoxine is a drug that is a combination of Meclozine  and Pyridoxine. This drug is classified as an antiemetic. Meclozine is a piperazine derivative and a sedating antihistamine with antimuscarinic properties while pyridoxine is a form of vitamin B6 that is used to treat pyridoxine deficiency and metabolic disorders.

Meclozine + Pyridoxine is used to treat pregnancy-associated nausea and vomiting.

  • Meclozine + Pyridoxine should not be given to those with a hypersensitivity to Meclozine or Pyridoxine.

Meclozine + Pyridoxine may have the following side effects:

  • Drowsiness
  • Thickening of bronchial secretions
  • Dry mouth
  • Fatigue
  • Blurred vision

Take extra caution in patients with the following medines:

  • Prostate hypertrophy
  • Obstruction of bladder neck
  • Narrow angle glaucoma
  • Pyloric stenosis
  • Pregnancy

Meclozine + Pyridoxine ay interact with the following medicines:

  • Meclozine
  • CNS depressants
  • Neuroleptics
  • Anticholinergics
  • Alcohol
