Anaplastic large cell lymphomas are uncommon lymphomas that are recognized from different lymphomas through their cells and antibodies. This type of lymphoma affects the skin and areas outside the lymph nodes. It is common among children and among males. It is a type of non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL).
ALCL occurs when white blood cells called T-cells become abnormal. These are commonly produced in the lymph nodes, yet can affect different parts of the body.
