TAFLUPROST

Tafluprost is used to treat glaucoma or other causes of increased pressure inside the eye. This medication works by increasing the amount of fluid that drains from the eye to reduce pressure. The use of this drug may cause a gradual change in the eyes color as well as the eyelids and lashes. Color changes may be permanent even after your treatment ends.

Uses

This medication is used to treat open-angle glaucoma and to lower high eye pressure.

Warnings

Use care when driving or doing other tasks that call for clear eyesight.

Side Effects

Common side effects of this drug include:

Headache
stinging or irritation of the eye
Less common
Cough
darker color of the eyelashes
dry eyes
increased growth of the eyelashes

Less common side effects may include:

Blurred vision
Burning, Dry, or Itching Eyes
Decreased Vision
Eye Discharge or Excessive Tearing
Eye Pain
Redness, Pain, or Swelling of the Eye, Eyelid, or Inner Lining of the Eyelid

Notify your doctor promptly if any of these symptoms persist or worsen.
