SALICYLAMIDE

Salicylamide is used in combination with other drugs to relieve pain. It has an analgesis and antipyretic properties and works similarly like aspirin.

Uses

This medication, alone or in combination with other drugs, is used to relieve pain and inflammation associated with musculoskeletal and joint disorders. This medication may also be used in other conditions to be determined by your doctor.

Warnings

This drug is contraindicated with severe renal or hepatic impairment. This drug may interfere with thyroid function tests. Make sure laboratory personnel and all your doctors know you use this drug to avoid false results.

Gastro Intestinal Disturbances
Flushing
Hyperventilation
Sweating
Dry Mouth
Rash
Thrombocytopenic Purpura

High dosage of this drug may lead to tinnitus, ecchymosis, hemorrhagic lesions, leukopenia or thrombocytopenia.
