RAMTREX

Ramtrex is used in the following conditions:

  • Certain bacterial eye infections, such as conjunctivitis (pink eye)
  • Inflammation caused by bacterial infection

Do not use Ramtrex in people with the following conditions:

  • Hypersensitivity
  • Patients with a fungal infection or in patients with bacterial meningitis
  • History of psychosis, diabetes mellitus, congestive heart failure, hypertension, myasthenia gravis, renal or hepatic impairment, or in patients taking oral anticoagulants

Ramtrex may have the following side effects:

  • Eye irritation
  • Stinging
  • Burning
  • Blurred vision
  • Increased sensitivity to light
  • Watery eyes -redness of the eyes
  • Dry eyes
  • Itching
  • Increased tear production
  • Eye discharge
  • Eyelid swelling
  • Headache

Severe side effects may include:

  • Severe allergic reaction
  • Vision changes
  • Eye pain
  • Swelling of the face, lips, tongue, or throat
  • Hives
  • Difficulty breathing
  • Severe itching
  • Severe redness
  • Severe eye discharge
