QUANTUM PLUS

Do not use Quantum Plus in people with the following conditions:

• Hypersensitivity
• Kidney disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, iron overload, or anemia
• People who have had a heart attack or stroke
• People who are pregnant or breastfeeding

Quantum Plus may have the following side effects:

• Digestive symptoms such as nausea, diarrhea, constipation, and upset stomach
• Other possible side effects include headaches, dizziness, skin rashes, and allergic reactions
• In some cases, taking too many vitamins may put you at risk for developing certain medical conditions, such as kidney stones or liver damage

Keep in mind that your physician has recommended this drug since he or she has known that the advantage to you is more noteworthy than the risk of adverse reactions. Many individuals utilizing this medicine don’t have serious side effects.

A serious allergy to this medication is uncommon. In any case, seek emergency medical help if you see any manifestations of a serious allergic response, including a rash, tingling or swelling particularly of the face or tongue or throat, dizziness or difficulty in breathing.

Precautions

Take extra caution in patients with the following medical conditions:

• Talk to your doctor before taking multivitamins if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or taking any medications

• Some multivitamins contain iron, which can be dangerous if taken in excess
• Certain vitamins and minerals can interact with each other and with medications, so be sure to check with your doctor or pharmacist before taking a multivitamin
• Store multivitamins in a cool, dry place and out of the reach of children
• Don’t take multivitamins if the expiration date has passed

Interactions

Quantum Plus may interact with the following medicines:

• Warfarin (Coumadin), methotrexate, and other medications used to treat high blood pressure, cholesterol, diabetes, and heart disease
• Antibiotics

Inform your physician about the drugs you take including over-the-counter medications, prescribed drugs, supplements and vitamins.
