NAHALTIN

Nahaltin is a combination of the semi-synthetic antibiotic Amoxicillin and the -lactamase inhibitor clavulanate potassium (the potassium salt of Clavulanic Acid). It’s used to treat infections like urinary tract infections.

Warnings

Do not use Nahaltin in people with the following conditions:

Harmful epidermal necrolysis
Blisters and red, scaly rash with bumps under the skin (exanthematous pustulosis)
Hives
Allergic reaction to an injection of foreign protein
Inflammation of blood vessels (hypersensitivity vasculitis)
Itching
Stevens-Johnson Syndrome
Red skin rash with small pus-containing blisters (bullous exfoliative dermatitis)
Swelling of the face or throat
Skin allergic reaction caused by infection (erythema multiforme)
Skin rash
Difficulty in breathing

Side Effects

Nahaltin may have the following side effects:

Cholestatic jaundice
Hepatitis
Diarrhea
Skin rashes
Behavioral changes
Dizziness
Headache
Flatulence
Indigestion
Insomnia
Stomach discomfort
Black hairy tongue
