NAFTOPIDIL

Naftopidil is a drug that belongs to a class of medicines known as alpha-1 adrenergic receptor inhibitors. It is used to treat lower urinary tract symptoms and may be taken by mouth.

Naftopidil is used to treat signs and symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia.

Naftopidil should not be given to people with allergy to it.

Naftopidil may give rise to side effects such as:

  • Intraoperative floppy iris syndrome
  • Ejaculatory disorders
  • Buzzing or lightheadedness
  • Hypotension

This product should not be used in women.

 

Interactions

Naftopidil may interact with the following medicines:

  • Indapamide and its analogues
