NAFTIDROFURYL

Naftidrofuryl is a vasodilator and works by widening the blood vessels and increasing the ability of cells to remove waste products. It is primarily indicated to treat peripheral and cerebral vascular disorders. This drug may also be used as sedative in combined anaesthesia.

Uses

This medication is used to treat several conditions such as peripheral and cerebral vascular diseases and Raynaud’s phenomenon. This drug is also use as an alternative drug in Alzheimer’s disease and Dementia.

Warnings

This drug should not be given to children and to people with a history of recurrent calcium oxalate kidney stones.

Drink lots of fluid to maintain an adequate level of diuresis while using this drug.

Rashes
Epigastric pain
