KAFTAX

Kaftax Tablet, which belongs under the classification of drugs named Cephalosporin Antibacterials, is a drug used in treating different types of bacterial infections. This drug works by weakening the bacteria’s outer layer, causing the bacterial cells to break down. Additionally, this medication aids by eradicating the bacterial infection from the body and halting the growth of bacteria.

  • increased number of eosinophils
  • hives
  • microbial overgrowth (candida overgrowth)
  • inflammation of the vagina (vaginitis, early lyme disease)
  • difficult urination
  • increase in the level of liver enzymes
  • cholestasis
  • muscle cramps
  • chest pain
  • nausea
  • indigestion
  • diaper rash
  • dislike of taste
  • cough
  • increased production of saliva (ptyalism)
  • muscle spasm of neck
  • swollen tongue
  • irritable behavior
  • kidney diseases
  • mouth ulcers
  • reaction caused by harmful products released into the body after killing of microbes (Jarisch-Herxheimer reaction)
  • gas formation
  • pseudomembranous colitis
  • hyperactivity
  • jaundice
  • erythema multiforme
  • stomach pain
  • leukopenia
  • inflammation of the liver
  • viral infection
  • headache
  • joint swelling
  • muscle stiffness
  • pancytopenia
  • encephalopathy

Interactions

Jensar may interact with the following medicines:

  • anticoagulant
