Juvederm Voluma XC/Juvederm ULTRA XC/Juvederm Ultra Plus XC is a long-acting HMW hyaluronic acid that, once administered, promotes periodontal tissues or adequate fluid with rapid regeneration and restoration capabilities by inhibiting and amplifying the properties of organic gingival HMW hyaluronic acid.

Juvederm Voluma XC/Juvederm ULTRA XC/Juvederm Ultra Plus XC is a naturally present physiologic component of connective tissue that conducts anti-oedematous and tissue healing actions. Still, it has no systemic or local pharmacological impact on the mucosa.

Use this medication precisely as recommended by your physician. Follow the prescription of your doctor carefully. 

The medication dose your physician has given is based on your condition, other medications or food supplements you may take, and your reaction to treatment. To diminish your risks for adverse effects, don’t increase your dosage, take it regularly, or take it as instructed by your physician. Adverse events may still happen even at usual prescription dosages. 

If your physician requests you to use this drug consistently, use it regularly to get the most benefits from it. To make you remember it better, take it at a fixed time every day.

  • Alleviate discomfort in the patient throughout therapy
  • Lip augmentation and projecting treat structural flaws, such as mass loss, contour abnormalities, and asymmetries
  • Fine wrinkles and medium-sized skin downturns caused by disorders, such as premature aging

Do not use Juvederm Voluma XC/Juvederm ULTRA XC/Juvederm Ultra Plus XC in people with the following conditions:

  • Children
  • Pregnancy
  • Lactation
  • Patients undergoing dermabrasion, deep chemical peels, or laser therapy
  • Regions where there is cutaneous swelling or infectious conditions, such as herpes or acne
  • Avoid injecting into blood vessels.
  • People who are prone to hypertrophic fibrosis
  • Untreated porphyria and epilepsy
  • Hypersensitivity

Juvederm Voluma XC/Juvederm ULTRA XC/Juvederm Ultra Plus XC may have the following side effects:

  • Delaye or acute sensitivity
  • Granuloma
  • Abscesses
  • Glabellar necrosis
  • Ineffective or weak filling effectiveness
  • Injection site staining or discoloration
  • Induration or nodules at the site of injection.
  • Hematomas
  • inflammatory responses such as erythema, edema, and redness

Keep in mind that your physician has recommended this drug since he or she has known that the advantage to you is more noteworthy than the risk of adverse reactions. Many individuals utilizing this medicine don’t have serious side effects.  

A serious allergy to this medication is uncommon. In any case, seek emergency medical help if you see any manifestations of a serious allergic response, including a rash, tingling or swelling particularly of the face or tongue or throat, dizziness or difficulty in breathing.

  • Benzalkonium chloride
  • Quaternary ammonium salts
