HUMAN PAPILLOMAVIRUS 9-VALENT VACCINE

ELASOMERAN

Elasomeran is a COVID-19 vaccine that includes messenger RNA (mRNA) that encodes the viral spikes (S) glycoprotein of coronavirus 2, which causes acute respiratory syndrome (SARS-CoV-2). The lipid nanoparticles (LNPs) encapsulate the nucleoside-modified mRNA, allowing it to be delivered into host cells and express the SARS-CoV-2 S antigen. Immune cells recognize the produced membrane-bound S protein of SARS-CoV-2 as a foreign antigen, eliciting T-cell and B-cell responses to produce neutralizing antibodies, that might help defend against COVID-19.
