DULL HAIR

Each strand of hair is manufactured from protein and is blanketed in tiny scales like roof tiles. These sensitive cells are gentle and smooth. But damaged scales can result in a tough surface and dull hair. These scales also can emerge as weighed down and matte.

You can determine whether your hair is dull with the following signs:

Zero flexibility. Pull a hair strand and wrap it around your fingers. Then slowly pull the ends of the hair apart and check whether it is breaking or not

Split ends. Split ends are hair strands that peel off or with tiny white balls at the end

Coarse texture. If your hair feels like straw, it is considered dry.

Dull and Lifeless. If your hair has lost its bounce and shine, it’s dull

Causes

There are many causes of dull-looking hair – chemical damage, warmth styling harm, incorrect styling strategies, or even environmental stresses. Fortunately, there are a variety of tips to make the hair appear vibrant again.

TREATMENT

Use a clarifying shampoo for a month to take away residue in your hair

Only wash your hair or three times a week. Apply conditioner at the center and ends of your hair (keep away from the roots). Rinse for three minutes with lukewarm water (warm water can dry your hair). Use a clarifying shampoo from time to time to dispose of residue in your hair.

Cool Rinses. Warmth can cause the hair shaft to swell and the cuticle to open up. An open cuticle leaves the hair dull. One of the simplest ways to repair shine is through rinsing it in cool water.

Natural Rinses. There also are herbal products that can be used to make the hair more vibrant. The cold water rinse is good, but there are other effective ways. One such way is to use vinegar as a completing rinse after shampooing and conditioning the hair.

Shampoo Choices. The correct shampoo on your hair can make your hair appear shinier. Dry hair has a tendency to be dull, so apply a shampoo to bring about moisture. Follow it up with a moisture rich conditioner and you may quickly see dramatic results in your hair.

Proper Styling. Use a herbal bristle brush and brush from the lowest up, then gently brush from scalp to ends to distribute the oils gently.

Nourishing the Hair. To TRULY nourish your hair, you need to have a PROPER DIET. Since the production of hair is a function of the skin, you want to have a healthy diet that gives rise to healthy skin.
