Buflomedil is a vasodilator drug which enhances deformability of red blood cells (RBC), muscle cell metabolism and inhibits platelet aggregation. It is an alpha-adrenoceptor inhibitor and a weak calcium channel blocker.

Use this medication precisely as recommended by your physician. Follow the prescription of your doctor carefully.

The medication dose given by your physician is based on your health conditions, other medications or food supplements taken, and your reaction to the treatment. To diminish risks for adverse effects, do not increase your dosage, thus take it regularly, or take it as instructed by your physician. Adverse events may still happen even at usual prescription dosages.

Do not use Buflomedil in people with the following conditions:

  • Known hypersensitivity to the component
  • Serious heart disease
  • Hemorrhagic syndrome
  • Intracranial hypertension
  • Decompensated heart failure
  • Valvular stenosis
  • Significant reduction of pulmonary circulatory bed
  • Glaucoma
  • Three months of pregnancy
  • During or within two weeks after treatment with MAOIs

Teniposide may have the following side effects:

  • Reversible alopecia
  • Nausea
  • Vomiting
  • Diarrhea
  • Mucositis
  • Rash
  • Fever
  • Neurotoxicity
  • Hepatic or renal dysfunction
  • Infection
  • Bleeding
  • Secondary acute myeloid leukemia
  • Hypotension upon rapid IV


Potentially fatal:

  • Severe hypersensitivity reactions

Keep in mind that your physician has recommended this drug since he or she has known that the advantage to you is more significant than the risk of adverse reactions. Many individuals utilizing this medicine don’t have serious side effects.
