FENOVERINE

Fenoverine is antisposmadic drug that works by modulating calcium gradient across the muscular cell membrane.

This medication is indicated to treat muscle spasms. Fenoverine may also be used in other conditions to be determined by your doctor.

Patients who are 60 years old and above and has renal or hepatic insufficiency must use this drug with caution.

Aside from the benefits, this drug may bring some unwanted effects. It is important to tell your doctor all the symptoms that you experience while using this drug, especially if any of these:

  • Myalgia
  • Dyspepsia
  • Gastrointestinal Upset
  • Constipation

Precautions

Before taking this drug, tell your doctor or pharmacist:

  • If you are allergic to it or if you have any other allergies.
  • If you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • If you are to undergo any surgical procedure.
  • If you are taking herbal, prescription and non-prescription drugs.
  • If you have certain medical conditions such as Chronic liver or renal disease, Hypersensitivity and Hyperthermia

Drug interactions may either lessen the effectiveness of this drug or heighten the risk for severe side effects. It’s important to inform your doctor all the medication including prescription and non-prescription and herbal medicines you are taking or going to take.

Call emergency hotline if someone has overdosed and has serious symptoms such as passing out or trouble breathing.
