BENCYCLANE

Bencyclane causes dilatation of blood vessels during peripheral and cerebral vascular attacks.

This medication is used to treat peripheral and cerebral vascular disorders.

Patients susceptible to cerebral seizures and residual urine formation due to prostatic hypertrophy should be administered when taking this drug.

Occasional IG effect is a possible side effect of this drug.

Precautions

Before taking this drug, tell your doctor or pharmacist:

  • If you are allergic to it or if you have any other allergies.
  • If you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • If you are taking herbal, prescription and non-prescription drugs.
  • If you have certain medical conditions or if you have had:
    • Severe Hepatic, Renal and Decompensated Cardiac Insufficiency
    • Atrioventricular (AV) Block
    • Recent Apoplexy (Until The 3rd Day)
    • Severe Circulatory Collapse
    • Simultaneous Therapy with β-blockers

 

Interactions

Drug interactions may either lessen the effectiveness of this drug or heighten the risk for severe side effects. It’s important to inform your doctor all the medication including prescription and non-prescription and herbal medicines you are taking or going to take.

Possible interactions with this drug are:

  • Antihypertensives
  • Nitrates
  • α-blockers
  • Tricyclic Psychotropic Drugs

Call emergency hotline if someone has overdosed and has serious symptoms such as passing out or trouble breathing.
