FAST FOOD

 

Fast food refers to food that can be prepared quickly and easily. The idea behind a fast food restaurant is to have an assembly line of workers all doing one little job, rather than one cook doing all the jobs.

Fast foods are produced with the same size of serving, shape, flavor and color. A natural and artificial flavor was added to the food so that it will taste and look good. The food is frozen at the factory and will then distributed to other franchising restaurants.

Mass-produced foods are often:

  • Lower in Fiber
  • Higher in Trans Fat, which taste good but not good for your health
  • Higher in Calories
  • Have More Sugar
  • Have More Salt
