Precautions
Pregnant and breastfeeding women must consult their doctor before taking this drug. Diabetic, alcoholic, and thiamine deficient patients must also take caution. Alpha-lipoic acid may also interfere with thyroid treatments.
Interactions
Alpha lipoic acid may interact with cancer and anti diabetes drugs.
