HUMAN PAPILLOMAVIRUS 9-VALENT VACCINE

CHORIOGONADOTROPIN ALFA

Choriogonadotropin alfa, an analogue of LH, is a biosynthetic recombinant form of HCG. It attaches to the ovarian granulosa and theca cells of the LH/HCG receptors in the absence of an endogenous LH surge. This causes late ovarian follicular maturation to be induced, ovarian follicular granulosa cell luteinization, oocyte meiosis resumption, and the initiation of preovulatory ovarian follicle rupture.
