METHISOPRINOL

Methisoprinol, otherwise called inosine pranobex, is an antiviral medication that is a blend of inosine and dimepranol acedoben in a proportion of 1 to 3. It has no impact on viral particles itself. Rather, it goes about as an immunostimulant, as a thymus hormone analog. It improves the immune reaction of lymphocytes when given after the start of an infection.

Methisoprinol has a particular activity on ribosomes and polyribosomes, safeguarding their structure and capacity, and conferring resistance to foreign genetic information.
