ALMITRINE + RAUBASINE

Bivalirudin

Almitrine + Raubasine is a combination drug. These two drugs work together to increase oxygen that is being brought to the brain and nerves, by increasing oxygen content of blood in the arteries.

Almitrine + Raubasine is used in the following conditions:

  • Auditory, vestibular and visual disorders of ischemic etiology
  • Cerebrovascular insufficiency

Functioning after cerebrovascular accidents

Do not use Almitrine + Raubasine with monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs).

Almitrine + Raubasine may have the following side effects:

  • Mild gastrointestinal disorders
  • Sleep disturbances
  • Palpitations
  • Anxiety
  • Dizziness
  • Rarely, weight loss, peripheral neuropathy with abnormal sensations in the lower limbs

Precautions

Special precautions should be observed in people with the following conditions:

  • Pregnancy
  • Prickling effects in the lower limbs

Long term treatment may result in numbness

Interactions

Almitrine + Raubasine may interact with the following medicines:

  • Other almitrine-containing preparations
  • Monoamine oxidase inhibitors MAOIs

Signs of overdose include the following:

  • Tachycardia
  • Arterial hypotension
  • Polypnea and respiratory alkalosis
