XIBORNOL

Xibornol is a medicine that is also known to be an antibiotic. It has a bacteriostatic action against gram positive bacteria such as staphylococci, streptococci and H. influenzae.

Xibornol is used in the treatment of infections.

Xibornol should not be given to people with the following conditions:

  • Hypersensitivity to Xibornol or substances closely related to it
  • Pregnancy and lactation

Xibornol may have the following side effects:

  • Diarrhea
  • Skin rash

Precautions

Extra caution should be observed in people with the following conditions:

  • Diabetes Mellitus
  • Hypertension
  • Liver disease
  • Heart problems
