VARICELLA VIRUS VACCINE LIVE

Varicella virus vaccine live, also known as chickenpox vaccine, is a vaccine that offers protection against chickenpox. A dose of thise vaccine is able to prevent 95% of moderate chickenpox and 100% of severe chickenpox. Two doses of the vaccine are deemed to be more effective than one. Whenever given to the individuals who are not immune whithin five days of chickenpox exposure, it averts most cases of the disease. It is injected under the skin.

Varicella Virus Vaccine Live is used for immunization for the prevention of varicella in individuals 12 months of age and older.

  • Sore throat
  • Headache
  • Tired feeling
  • Sleep problems
  • Joint or muscle pain
  • Nausea
  • Vomiting
  • Stomach pain
  • Diarrhea
