TAURINE

Taurine is used in the treatment of congestive heart failure and liver disease. It is an essential amino acid obtained from cysteine and methionine metabolism.

It is responsible for osmoregulation, membrane stabilisation, detoxification and modulation of cellular calcium levels. It is found abundantly in human breast milk.
