SERRAPEPTASE

Description: Serrapeptase is a proteolytic enzyme of Serratia spp source. When taken orally, it relieves inflammation and oedema associated with trauma, infection or chronic venous insufficiency by aiding the body break down protein.

  • For treatment of back pain,osteoarthritis,rheumatoid arthritis, osteoporosis, fibromyalgia, carpel tunnel syndrome, migraineheadache, and tension headache, sinusitis, laryngitis, sore throat, ear infections, swelling after surgery, swelling of a vein with the formation of a blood clot (thrombophlebitis), and inflammatory bowel disease(IBD) including ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s
  • Also used for treatment of heart disease, atherosclerosis (hardening of arteries, fibrocystic breast disease), breast engorgement, diabetes, leg ulcers, asthma, and pus accumulation

How to use serrapeptase

  • Always refer to your doctors instructions before taking this medication. Duration and dosage will be determined by your medical condition and its response to the medication. Make sure to take this medication in the prescribed amount and time period even after symptoms disappear. Discontinuing the medication before completion of treatment may cause incomplete treatment of condition. If Symptoms persist, consult your doctor

  • Products that may interact with this medication include:
    • Anticoagulant / Antiplatelet drugs, medications that slow blood clotting include aspirin, clopidogrel (Plavix), diclofenac (Voltaren, Cataflam, others), ibuprofen (Advil, Motrin, others), naproxen (Anaprox, Naprosyn, others), dalteparin (Fragmin), enoxaparin (Lovenox), heparin, warfarin (Coumadin), and others.
