REGORAFENIB

Bivalirudin

Regorafenib is a drug that is known as a  tyrosine kinase inhibitor which potentially blocks protein kinase, such as kinases that are involved with tumor angiogenesis, oncogenesis, and maintenance of the tumor microenvironment.

Regorafenib is used to treat colon cancer and rectal cancer which has already spread to the other parts of the body. It is also used to treat liver cancer and cancers such as gastrointestinal stromal tumors.

Do not give Regorafenib if with liver problems.

Regorafenib may have the following side effects:

  • Myocardial ischaemia and infarction
  • Hypertension
  • Decreased appetite
  • Impaired wound healing
  • Liver toxicity
  • Hemorrhage
