RECOMBINANT HEPATITIS B VACCINE

Recombinant hepatitis B vaccine is used to prevent hepatitis B virus infections. It is made up of non-infectious subunit viral particles obtained from HBsAg grown in yeast cells in the form of a sterile suspension.

Recombinant hepatitis B vaccine is used in the prevention of infection caused by all known subtypes of hepatitis B virus

Warnings

Do not give this drug to people with the following conditions:

History of severe allergic or hypersensitivity reactions after a previous dose of any hepatitis B-containing vaccine

Apnea in premature infants
