PYRITHIONE ZINC SHAMPOO

Pyrithione Zinc, also known as Zinc Pyrithione, is a coordination complex of zinc that is used to treat seborrheic dermatitis. It is used to deal with skin infection and dandruff.

  • Do not use if you have allergy to pyrithione zinc shampoo or any component of this medication
  • If you’re allergic to any capsules like this one, like pills, foods, or other substances, tell your physician

Pyrithione zinc topical has not been officially assigned to a pregnancy category by the FDA. Animal research has not been conducted. There are no controlled trials in pregnant users. Pyrithione zinc topical should only be administered by a pregnant mother when advantages outweigh risks.

  • Signs of an allergic reaction, like rash, hives, itching, pink or swollen skin, blistered or peeling skin without or with fever, wheezing, tightness in the chest or throat, problem breathing or talking, unusual hoarseness or swelling of the mouth, face, lips, tongue, or throat.
  • Too much scalp inflammation.
  • Tell all your health carers that you take this medicine. This includes your medical doctors, nurses, pharmacists, and dentists.
  • Do not apply this medicine on a large portion of the skin. Talk with your health practitioner.
  • This medication might also cause damage if swallowed. If pyrithione zinc shampoo is swallowed, call a medical doctor or poison control center right away.
  • Tell your medical doctor if you are pregnant or plan on getting pregnant. You will want to speak about the advantages and dangers of using this medicinal drug while you are pregnant.
  • Tell your physician if you are breast-feeding
  • Do not use near an open flame or even while smoking. It might also burst.

If you think that you have overdosed, call your doctor or the poison control centre nearest you immediately.
