METHOHEXITAL

Methohexital is a very short-acting barbiturate, an intravenous anesthetic drug. It is used to induce sleep sedation and its use in the presence of pain may result in excitation.

  • Laryngeal spasm
  • Hypersensitivity reactions
  • Injection site reactions
  • Skeletal muscle hyperactivity
  • Convulsions
  • Nausea
  • Abdominal pain
  • Abnormal liver function tests

  • Phenytoin
