MENTHOL (FOOT MEDIC GEL)

This product has menthol for a cooling sensation and invigorating freshness. Menthol is an organic compound made from corn mint, peppermint, or other mint oils.

It is used to ease muscle and joint pain.

If you have allergy to menthol or any part of this remedy do not use it.

Tell your health practitioner your hypersensitivity and what signs you had, like rash, hives, itching, shortness of breath, wheezing, cough, swelling of face, lips, tongue, or throat or other signs and symptoms.

  • Skin inflammation.
  • Burning or stinging feeling. Most of the time, this may disappear after a few days.

Precautions

  • Do not take this medication by mouth. Use only in the skin. Keep away from your mouth, nose, ears, and eyes (may burn)
  • Wash your hands before and after use
  • Clean affected area before use. Make sure to dry well
  • Put a thin layer on the affected skin and rub in lightly
  • Do not place on cuts, scrapes, or damaged skin
  • Do not place on open wounds.
  • Do not place on irritated skin
  • Do not bandage tightly

 

Interactions

There are no known interactions.

Keep a list of all your medications with you, and share the list with your doctor and pharmacist.

This treatment may be dangerous if swallowed. If someone has overdosed and has extreme signs consisting of passing out or problem in breathing, call emergency hotline.
