Lichen amyloidosis, also known as papular amyloidosis, is one of two types of primary cutaneous amyloidosis. It appears as a shin, thigh, foot, and forearm rash that is quite irritating. Furthermore, lesions consist of papules that are brown or red and scaly.
One of the most prevalent complications of lichen amyloidosis is pruritus, with bleeding from constant scratching. Also, lesions may be painful in some instances. Furthermore, lichen amyloidosis, which primarily affects the skin, is rarely connected to an increased risk of death.
