Influenza A (H3N2v) is a non-human influenza virus that normally infected pigs hence called “swine influenza viruses.” It may be spread to humans through a direct contact with the pig’s coughs or sneeze. There also is some evidence that you might get infected by touching something that has virus on it and then touching your own mouth or nose. Humans may also inhale particles containing influenza virus.
