Freeze nerves, also called “cold therapy or cryotherapy” is a process wherein the body is exposed to extremely cold temperatures for a couple of minutes.
Freeze nerves could also be a pain treatment that utilizes localized freezing temperatures to weaken an annoying nerve. It’s also used as a way of treating localized areas of a few cancers like prostate cancer and handling abnormal skin cells by dermatologists.
In cryotherapy, a probe is inserted into the tissue next to the affected nerve. The temperature of the probe sets down and successfully freezes the nerve. The freezing deactivates the nerve and the result is, the painful nerve irritation is relieved. Cryotherapy could also be a comparatively safe and effective means of treating localized nerve irritation.
