FLUOCINOLONE + HYDROQUINONE + TRETINOIN

Fluocinolone + Hydroquinone + Tretinoin is a drug that is made up of Fluocinolone, Hydroquinone and Tretinoin. It is usually applied to the skin. Fluocinolone acetonide is a corticosteroid that is used to treat skin inflammation. Hydroquinone is to treat skin discolorations. Tretinoin is a retinoid that increases cell regrowth and turnover.

Fluocinolone + Hydroquinone + Tretinoin is used to treat moderate to severe melasma of the face.

  • Tuberculosis of skin
  • Herpes (including varicella)
  • Sulphite allergy

Fluocinolone + Hydroquinone + Tretinoin may have the following side effects:

  • Erythema
  • Pruritus
  • Dry skin
  • Burning sensation
  • Desquamation
  • Acne
  • Pigmentation change
  • Irritation
  • Papules,
  • Rosacea
  • Vesicles

Take extra caution in patients with the following medines:

  • Risk of Kaposi’s sarcoma
  • Pregnancy
  • Lactation
