FIBRINOLYSIN

Fibrinolysin is a drug that converts fibrin into soluble products. It also hydrolyses other proteins. It is often used along with deoxyribonuclease for the debridement of wounds. It can also be given as an injection for thrombotic disorders.

Fibrinolysin is used in the treatment of the following medical conditions:

  • Irreversible hemorrhagic shock
  • Minor burns
  • Superficial wounds
  • Ulcuscruris
  • Superficial hematoma
  • Other purposes

Do not give Fibrinolysin in people with hypersensitivity to it or to bovine proteins.

There are no side effects reported for Fibrinolysin.

Precautions

Take extra caution when using it in pregnant women.

 

Interactions

There are no known drug interactions with Fibrinolysin.

If you think you have used Fibrinolysin more than the recommended dose, seek medical help immediately.
