EBASTINE

Ebastine is a non-sedating antihistamine agent.

Treatment of allergic conditions

Do not take ebastine if your allergic to it, or if you irregular heartbeats (cardiac arrythmias).

Headache, dry mouth, drowsiness, pharyngitis, abdominal pain, dyspepsia, asthenia, epistaxis, rhinitis, sinusitis, nausea, insomnia.

Precautions

Give with caution in pregnant and lactating women, and in patients with liver impairment, kidney insufficiency insufficiency, and cardiac arrythmias.

 

Interactions

Concomitant use of ketoconazole, itraconazole, clarithromycin or erythromycin may increase plasma levels of ebastine and cause cardiac arrythmias.

If overdose is suspected, bring the victim to the hospital immediately.
