DAPAGLIFLOZIN + METFORMIN

This medication is a combination of two drugs, which are dapagliflozin and metformin.   • Acute alcohol intoxication
  • Cardiac or respiratory failure
  • Severe infection
  • Dehydration
  • Renal impairment
  • Lactation

Dapagliflozin + Metformin may have the following side effects:

  • Hypoglycemia
  • Bone fracture
  • Genital mycotic infections
  • Hypotension
  • Ketoacidosis
  • Increased LDL
  • Urticaria
  • Abdominal pain
  • Back pain
  • Taste disturbance
  • UTI
  • Vaginal moniliasis
  • Nasopharyngitis
  • Rash

Take extra caution in patients with the following medical conditions:

  • Patient with risk factors for acute kidney injury
  • History of pancreatitis
  • Bladder cancer
  • Congestive heart failure
  • Trauma
  • Infection
  • Surgery
  • Pregnancy
  • Not intended for the treatment of diabetic ketoacidosis or type 1 diabetes mellitus
