DAILYVASC

DAILYvasc is a medication often prescribed for hypertension and angina. It is a calcium channel blocker which has a significant effect in the movement of calcium into the blood vessels, making the blood vessels more relaxed.

Do not use DAILYvasc in people with the following conditions:

  • Patients with known hypersensitivity to Amlodipine

DAILYvasc may have the following side effects:

  • Transient blindness
  • Ischaemic chest pain
  • Lethargy
  • Cerebral or myocardial ischaemia
  • Mental depression
  • Nausea
  • Increased micturition frequency
  • Flushing
  • Gastrointestinal disturbances
  • Eye pain
  • Palpitations
  • Tachycardia
  • Dizziness
  • Headache
  • Hypotension
  • Peripheral oedema

Keep in mind that your physician has recommended this drug since he or she has known that the advantage to you is more noteworthy than the risk of adverse reactions. Many individuals utilizing this medicine don’t have serious side effects.

Interactions

DAILYvasc may interact with the following medicines:

  • Oral hypoglycaemic agents
  • Antibiotics
  • Beta-adrenoceptor blocking drugs
  • Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs
  • Sublingual glyceryl nitrate
  • Thiazide diuretics
  • Angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitor
  • Long-acting nitrates

Inform your physician about the drugs you take, including over-the-counter medications, prescribed drugs, supplements and vitamins.
