CAPTODIAME

Captodiamine is an antihistamine used as a sedative and anxiolytic for people with anxiety disorder.It works by acting on the cerebral centers incolved in the regulation of mood and behavior. It also helps in preventing benzodiazepine withdrawal syndrome.

Uses

This medication is indicated primarily to treat anxiety. Captodiamine may also be used in other conditions to be determined by your doctor.

Warnings

This drug may cause dizziness, drowsiness or blurred vision. Avoid activities requiring alertness or clear vision such as driving until you are sure you can perform such activities safely. Limit the use of alcohol and certain other medications that cause drowsiness.
