BROMAZEPAM

Bromazepam enhances neuronal membrane permeability to chloride ions by attaching to stereospecific benzodiazepine receptors on the postsynaptic GABA neuron within the central nervous system i.e. including the limbic system, reticular formation, and increasing GABA inhibitory effects, thus leading to hyperpolarization and stabilization.
