BATROXOBIN

Batroxobin is a medication obtained from the venom of the viper and is indicated to prevent bleeding and managing thrombo-embolic disorder.

This drug is used during or before surgical operations to decrease or prevent bleeding. Batroxobin is also used to treat Thromboembolism.

This may trigger adverse allergic reaction.

This drug may have unwanted effects. Tell your doctor all the symptoms you are experiencing while taking this drug.

Precautions

Before the doctor use this drug, he or she may ask:

  • If you are allergic to it or if you have any other allergies.
  • If you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • If you are taking herbal, prescription and non-prescription drugs
  • If you have certain medical conditions.

 

Interactions

Drug interactions may either lessen the effectiveness of this drug or heighten the risk for severe side effects. It’s important to inform your doctor all the medication including prescription and non-prescription and herbal medicines you are taking or going to take.

Call emergency hotline if someone has overdosed and has serious symptoms such as passing out or trouble breathing.
