ALUMINUM HYDROXIDE + MAGNESIUM HYDROXIDE + SIMETHICONE

Aluminum Hydroxide and Magnesium Carbonate are antacids that work quickly to lower the acid in the stomach.

Simethicone is an orally administered anti-foaming agent used to reduce bloating, discomfort or pain caused by excessive gas — mainly swallowed air, with small amounts of hydrogen and methane— in the stomach or intestines.

Aluminum hydroxide, magnesium hydroxide, and simethicone is a combination medicine used to treat heartburn, acid indigestion, upset stomach, and bloating caused by gas.

You should not use aluminum hydroxide, magnesium hydroxide, and simethicone if you are allergic to it.

Ask a doctor or pharmacist if it is safe for you to take this medicine if you have:

  • kidney disease; or
  • if you are on a low-magnesium diet.

Do not use this medication without medical advice if you are pregnant or are breast-feeding a baby.

Do not give this medicine to a child younger than 12 years old without medical advice.

Get emergency medical help if you have any of these signs of an allergic reaction: hives; difficult breathing; swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat.

Stop using this product and call your doctor at once if you have:

  • bone pain, muscle weakness;
  • confusion, changes in your mental state, seizure (convulsions); or
  • pale skin, feeling light-headed or short of breath, rapid heart rate.
